The Shadow Sequel Poll

Which villains would you have in the sequel? Would the villain(s) be based on an established character or an original one? And who would play the villain(s)?

Want to add your own opinion? Email me! Don't forget to read the rules, though.

I think Gary Oldman would be well-suited for any one of several of the fascinating antagonists. Like Cage, he's able to lose himself in roles and he's not afraid of stretching the boundaries to make a memorable character. His performance is the recent Hannibal is evidence of that.

Time period would be appropriate for a Nazi connection there. The Shadow has always had an occult connection, and the Nazi party has also acquired one if it didn't actually exist.

—Wm. Walter Ingle, Jr.
As far as a villain (for a direct sequel), a return of Shiwan Kahn would be possible if done correctly.

In the role of the villain (for a sequel loosely based on the 1994 movie) I'd cast an "intense" or "hostile" actor like Marlon Brando or David Duchovny, just to watch the fireworks on and off screen. I would cast them only if Russell Crowe were in the sequel, because it is the chemistry between the actors (Russell and another "hostile" actor).
