Personally, I think that we are long overdue for a
new Shadow comic. This past spring, I attended Wizard World Philadelphia
and spoke to [James] Steranko who was signing and selling prints of some
of his Shadow work (Many of them were the same work that was featured in
the Shadow trading cards). He told me that he has been trying to get a publisher
to back him in creating a new Shadow comic written and drawn by him. He
truly loves the character and I think will do The Shadow more justice than
anyone else. His art is very dynamic, expressive, and I think he will tell
an amazing Shadow story. I hope it all works out for him.

A
great comic would satisfy my hunger. A great pulp
would be fantastic. A complete return to the original form would
be wonderful. I have enjoyed picking up the Spider and Phantom Detective
pulp reprints, no matter what the cost! But anyway, anyhow, anywhere we
can reacquaint ourselves on a regular basis with The Shadow, would be welcome.

The Shadow would be good in any genre. Though,
I would suppose that mystery, supsense and thrills would be his strenghts.
To be honest, I would like to see the character drawn in a Manga
style, seeing that the Japanese tend to get away with more....violence
isn't the word I would use. However, I must agree with the other two resposes
thus far.... It's time for The Shadow to reappear in some written form.
Comics/graphic novels/mangas would be best because a picture is worth a
thousands words.
