Book 4 - Prologue 2

Ra's sat on his plane as it flew across the Atlantic headed for South America. He sat back in the chair that had once been the throne of King George III. Ra's had it specifically fitted for his airplane. He always thought he should sit in the same seats as past world leaders. Thumbing through his notes, he had an overwhelming feeling of satisfaction with himself. Ra's was closer then he had ever been to accomplishing his goal. Soon, he thought to himself, soon I will open the gates to Shambala and acquire the means necessary to fulfill my holy quest.

Ra's smiled to himself as he thought about what he had already accomplished. After years of working on Crane's notes I have finally translated them. Zorro will already have engaged The Detective in combat. The Detective will make short work of that annoyance. However, Zorro should prove the proper tool with which to draw him further into my plan. The Detective has one more part to play in my grand opera.

Ra's ordered one of his servants to bring him a drink and again thought to himself. Soon.
