Fan Fiction: Crossovers
Can't Get You Outta My Head

Chapter 11 (pt 2)

The Shadow easily caught up to the first biker, and gave him a hard blow to the back of the head, sending him flying.

The Shadow was so focused, that he did not notice the other Mongol biker come up hard enough to slam his bike. The Shadow grunted, and somehow managed to keep his wheels on the ground. The Shadow countered, slamming the Mongol back. But the armored man stayed upright, keeping a tight grip on the bike. The Mongol hammered The Shadow again, just barely missing. The Shadow grabbed the man's outstretched arm, and pulled, trying to throw him. Still the Mongol stayed on his bike, and veered away, just a bit.

The Shadow tried to manoeuvre his bike for an attack. But the Mongol too was in motion, reaching for a crossbow. The Shadow saw this and tried to pull his remaining automatic, but even he could see he was just a bit slow. The Mongol was going to fire first.

The arrow flew, and sliced straight into the front wheel of The Shadow's bike.

The Shadow struggled as the bike went in every direction, but it was clear that he couldn't control it. He started to slow the bike before he killed himself, when a hard blow hit him in the back, and pulled him straight up off the bike, and suddenly, The Shadow was in the air.

The Shadow laughed as Spider-Man spoke in his ear. "I can get you a better ride!" Spider-Man shouted.

The final biker looked back over his shoulder, and saw the Shadow's bike tip over and fall. The biker grinned in victory, and looked forward again…

Just as a two footed kick smashed him off his bike from the left.

The Shadow dropped, and quickly gained control of the now rider-less bike.

"NOW FOR YOU KHAN!" The Shadow bellowed at the racing jeep.

The Shadow hit the brakes as the jeep swerved, trying to knock him down. He sped up again, and pulled the bike to the left, as the jeep swerved back.

"Time to end this!" he shouted at Spider-Man overhead.

Spider-Man nodded, and swung ahead of the jeep, then doubled back, firing webbing over the windshield.

Blinded now, the unseen driver desperately swerved the jeep, finally just smashing the windshield out.

The Shadow laughed insanely, and pulled his second automatic, firing at the tires.

A luck shot nailed the front tire, and the jeep spun, completely out of control, into a wall.

The jeep exploded into a fireball, pieces flying everywhere.

The Shadow slid his bike to a stop, and ran toward the burning wreck.

Spider-Man caught him before he made it to the flames. "Hold it man! You'll never survive it!" "I HAVE TO BE SURE!" raged The Shadow, but he could see from where he was, as the walls of the jeep burned away to framework.

  Inside, a burning body.

The Shadow stopped, and looked carefully at the corpse. "No way to be sure. Not for a while." He whispered.

Spider-Man said nothing, but the same thought was on both their minds. Was it Khan's body?

There was no way for either of them to notice that there was an open manhole directly under the burning wreck.
