From co-founder Steve Donoso:
Four Shadow fans are launching The Shadowed Circle, the first fanzine dedicated to The Shadow in more than two decades. We are a volunteer publication with an international outreach and we exist only by the goodwill of Shadow fans around the world and their contributions of writing and artwork.
And we are looking for people to contribute articles and artwork to The Shadowed Circle for our Premiere Issue, to be published in both print & electronic formats later this year, the 90th Anniversary of The Shadow Magazine. We are a volunteer publication with an international outreach and we exist only by the goodwill of Shadow fans around the world and their contributions of writing and artwork.
Shadow Pulp articles and artwork are the heart of the The Shadowed Circle: we’re looking for articles, reviews and artwork from across the globe, related to The Shadow pulp novels, authors, illustrators or publishers. In each issue, we also plan on featuring an article on: The Shadow Radio shows, comic book series, films, or collecting Shadow memorabilia.
