Announcement

Please note that December 20, 2021 will be the final update for my site. It’s been an amazing 20 years of running it, however I’ve always known in the back of my mind that it wouldn’t last forever. Things have changed and evolved over the last 2 decades. With the pandemic, changes at work, and family responsibilities, I had to take time to reflect and I feel that it’s time to move on.

20 years is a long time, and when I look back, I’m amazed that it even reached this milestone. The stories I’ve heard from people whose lives were touched by this character, the submissions of Shadow related tidbits, links, and memorabilia have surprised and delighted me. Even to this day, The Shadow still proves his longevity in pop culture. And long may he continue to do so for generations to come.

I will keep this site online for as long as I can, however it will be “frozen in time” so that everyone can continue to use it as a one-stop reference – its original purpose since it was launched in 2001.

I want to thank all of you for your support of this site since the beginning. It’s been a pleasure, and one I will treasure always.
