Costume Stories: Mike as The Shadow

I chose The Shadow as he is one of my favorite characters. I already had a dark suit, and being on a tight budget and with help from my wife, bought an inexpensive hat from Amazon along with a cheap cape. My wife found the gloves at a local car shop at an inexpensive price (and marked down also), and we found some fabric at a fabric store that was half off so it was a very good deal. [I]nstead of wrapping the material around, we put Velcro on the back so i could adjust it to keep it on. We found a black shirt at Value Village. and because there was something that looked like glue on it, they marked the shirt down to less than $2. We got it home, washed it a couple times and the shirt was as good as new.
